I got tired of paying a monthly subscription fee just to keep music playing in the background, so I built my own music player app instead. It does exactly what I need, and now I can play music in the background without paying a monthly fee.
It was my first time visiting Kansai. I visited quite a few cities during the trip and spent a night at a temple on New Year's Eve. It was very cold but very fun.

I was surprised by how different it felt from Hong Kong, even though they are so close geographically. The architecture and atmosphere were quite distinct. I visited some casinos, tried my luck at the tables, and decided that I would never gamble again.
It was the first day of my nine-day trip to Taipei. It was my first time in Taiwan. I had no idea life could be so relaxing. I enjoyed the place a lot.

I arrived in Rome and immediately got robbed. Luckily, a group of Germans helped me chase down the thief, which minimized my losses. Unfortunately, I was then hit by a heatwave and couldn't really go anywhere.
I traveled from Paris to Munich alone. I walked around the city without looking at a map and ended up in a lot of nice, non-touristy places. The people were nice, the atmosphere was great, and the mountains and hills were beautiful. I loved it.
I went to Paris from Barcelona and visited a lot of museums. I don't think I understood everything I saw, but it was cool. The rainy weather was relaxing.
I went to Barcelona for a summer language program at UAB. It was my first time traveling alone, and I had a great time exploring the city, learning Spanish, and making new friends. The best part was seeing others' reactions when I spoke Spanish to them, as if no one expected an Asian person to speak Spanish.
