I went to Macau for the first time. Despite how close it is to Hong Kong, I had never been there before. I was surprised by how different it felt from Hong Kong, even though they are so close geographically. The architecture and atmosphere were quite distinct. I visited some casinos and tried my luck at the tables, and decided that I will never do it again.
First day of the 9 days trip in Taipei. This is my first time going to Taiwan. I have no idea life can be so relaxing. I enjoyed this place a lot.
First day of my new full-time job, working as a fullstack developer. I can no longer call myself a student. It's a bit surreal, but I'm excited for this new chapter in my life.
Travel to Japan to study in the Meiji University for 2 weeks, met some friends there, had a great time exploring Tokyo and its surroundings. Practiced and played rhythm games all the way from complete beginner to master level. I miss everything about Japan.
Arrived to Rome and immediately got robbed. Lucky a group of German helped me chase down the theif, minimized my loss. Afterward immediately got hit by the heatwave, can't really go anywhere. Unfortunately.
Going from Paris to Munich alone. Walked around the city without looking at the map and end up in a lot nice non-touristy places. Nice people, nice vibe, nice mountains and hills. I love it.
Went to Paris from Barcelona, visited a lot of museums, I don't think I understand it all but it was cool. Relaxing rainy weather.
Went to Barcelona for a summer language program in UAB. It was my first time going out alone, and I had a great time exploring the city, learning Spanish, and making new friends. The best thing was seeing other's reaction when I spoke Spanish to them like no one expected an Asian to speak Spanish.
